Raj is an Audit Director at Moore in the Cayman Islands with more than 16 years of professional experience in audit and assurance, with a particular focus on the investment management and financial services sectors.

A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Raj has also completed the CFA Institute Investment Foundations programme. Throughout his career, he has worked with a broad range of alternative investment structures, including hedge funds, private equity, private credit and digital asset funds. His experience encompasses financial statement audits under both US GAAP and IFRS, as well as complex fund structures, valuation considerations, internal controls and investor reporting.

In addition to his audit and accounting expertise, Raj brings experience in AML risk and regulatory compliance, providing him with a broader perspective on the governance, control and regulatory environment in which investment managers and funds operate.

At Moore Cayman, Raj works closely with fund managers, directors, administrators and other service providers to deliver efficient, responsive and high-quality audits. His approach combines strong technical expertise with a practical understanding of fund operations, helping clients navigate increasingly complex financial reporting and regulatory requirements.
